A 26-year-old Brantford woman is facing criminal harassment charges after a brief lockdown at a local high school on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

At approximately 10:20 a.m. Wednesday morning, police received reports of an unwanted person inside North Park Collegiate Vocational School.

Out of an abundance of caution, officers placed the school in a temporary lockdown.

After clearing the school, police determined the person had left the property. The lockdown was lifted around 10:50 a.m.

Police say no weapons were involved and there was no threat to student safety.

The individual, a 26-year-old woman, was found in the nearby area. Officers placed her under arrest, and she is facing two counts of Criminal Harassment.
