Shawn Beauregard of Brantford matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the April 28, 2023 LOTTO MAX draw to win $100,000.

Beauregard, who works in the forestry industry said he has always considered himself a lucky guy, and he always says yes to ENCORE.

One Saturday morning, Beauregard checked his ticket on the OLG app and learned he had won big.

“When I told my wife, she didn’t believe me. My family was overjoyed,” he said.

The 46-year-old said his win started to feel like more of a reality when he arrived at the OLG Prize Centre and chatted with other winners.

With his winnings, Beauregard plans to buy some gifts for his family.

“This win will make things more comfortable. I always hoped to see my face in a lottery winner story!” he concluded.

The winning ticket was purchased at Telly’s Variety on Colborne Street in Brantford.
