The Brantford Police Service is seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed a collision, which occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m., Sunday, May 29, 2022, in the area of Market Street and Chatham Street, Brantford. 

An unidentified vehicle, described as a grey Sport Utility Vehicle, occupied by a male driver and female passenger, is alleged to have struck a 21-year-old female pedestrian before fleeing the scene. The female was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

The involved vehicle is believed to have front-end damage, including a broken headlight.  

Failing to remain at the scene of a collision is a serious offence.  The Brantford police urge the driver and passenger to come forward, and anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have footage of the incident is asked to contact Constable B. Lee at 519-756-7050 ext. 2820.
