Brantford police are investigating the robbery of a gas station and are seeking information from the public to help identify the suspect.

Members of the Brantford Police Service responded to a report of a robbery of a gas station located at Colborne Street West near Oak Street at approximately 5:25 a.m. on Friday, August 23, 2024.

Information was received to indicate one male suspect entered the business with his face concealed and demanded cash from the store employee. The suspect obtained a small amount of cash and fled the scene on foot.

Physical injuries were not reported as a result of the incident.

The suspect remains outstanding and is described as follows:

•Male, white, wearing a black zip-up hoodie, red face covering, black Air Jordan backpack with grey logo, black and white mitten style gloves with yin and yang symbols, dark jeans and black shoes.

The investigation is ongoing.
