Officers with the Brantford Police Service continue to investigate an armed robbery that occurred at a Lynden Road Convenience store at approximately 10:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2022,

An armed man entered the store and approached the employee, displaying a firearm and demanding money.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the man left the store.

No physical injuries were sustained by the victim during the incident.

Officers were called and attended the scene. A K9 track was initiated in an attempt to locate the suspect.

The suspect remains at large and is described as follows:

•Male, Black, approximately 5′ 5″ tall, wearing a black hooded track suit, gloves, ball cap and a black face mask
