Brantford Police are now offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the identity of the person responsible for killing 45-year old Jeffrey James Roberts in 2016.

Roberts was reported missing on November 11, 2016, after he had not been seen or heard from for six days.

He was later found dead by a citizen on November 21 in a field near the overpass near West Street and Highway 403, and his death was ruled a homicide.

And now, seven years later, police say officers remain committed to finding the person or persons responsible for Roberts murder.

Investigators are now offering a $10,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to the conviction of the person(s) responsible.

“What you did to our family, what you left us without, you took a part of me with him, as you took his life,” Roberts’ mother, Evelyn Roberts said. “Those things that go through your mind, not knowing the truth, and having to go on surmising to yourself, takes its toll on your whole being.”

Anyone with any information related to the case is asked to contact Det. Cst. Jason Sinning at 519-756-7050 ext 2800 or robertshomicide@police.brantford.on.ca.
