Brantford Police investigating stabbing incident

Investigators with the Branford Police Service are investigating a stabbing and are seeking suspect information from the public.

Officers with the Brantford Police Service responded to a residence located near Colborne Street and Peel Street after receiving a report of a stabbing at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2022.

Officers attended and located a male victim who had sustained multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to hospital where he received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are looking for two male suspects, who were reported to have been wearing all black clothing and masks covering their faces. The suspects fled the scene on foot. A detailed description of the suspects is not available at this time. 

Officers have reason to believe this may be a targeted attack and do not feel this incident poses a threat to public safety. Police are currently seeking any information that may lead to identifying the suspects.
