20-year-old facing Assault and Threats charges

Brant OPP20-year-old facing Assault and Threats charges

Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a residence in Brant County following a report of an unwanted person at a private residence at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

Upon arrival, officers investigated and subsequently arrested a 20-year-old individual, Armaanveer BRAR from Brant County, with the following Criminal Code charges:

  • Uttering Threats – Cause death or Bodily Harm – 2 counts,
  • Assault with A Weapon,
  • Possession of imitation weapon for Dangerous Purpose,
  • Imitation Firearm – Use while committing offence.

The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on September 10, 2026, to answer to the charges.
