Brantford Police investigating fatal motor vehicle collision

The Brantford Police Service are seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed a collision that occurred at approximately 7:10 p.m. in the area of West Street and Burnley Avenue on Friday, October 27, 2023.

A vehicle was involved in a collision with a pedestrian. The pedestrian was transported to hospital, where, despite receiving life-saving efforts, they succumbed to injuries. 

The driver of the involved vehicle remained on scene. 

This investigation is ongoing.

Any witnesses or anyone with information, including dashcam or surveillance footage of the collision, are asked to contact Constable Brian LEE at 519-756-0113 ext. 2820.
