Brantford Police charge man with Break and Enter

Officers with the Brantford Police Service were dispatched to attend a report of a property alarm having been triggered at a commercial building located on Elgin Street at approximately 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2023.

Officer attended and observed signs of a break and enter. The accused was located on scene and was arrested without incident. 

As a result, a 37-year-old male resident of Brantford, stands charged with the following Criminal Code violations:

  • Break, enter – to a business or place to commit indictable offence 
  • Mischief Under $5,000 

The accused was held pending bail.
