Brantford motorist charged with Impaired Driving

Brant OPPBrantford motorist charged with Impaired Driving

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Brant Detachment, have charged a Brantford resident with impaired driving related offences following a traffic stop that occurred on on Friday, December 29, 2023.

Officers with the Brant OPP stopped a vehicle on Clarence Street in Brantford at approximately 11:34 p.m. on Friday.

Upon speaking to the driver of the vehicle, the officer administered a roadside breathalyzer test (ASD), and the driver was transported to the detachment for further testing.

Police have now charged 42-year-old Jason MARSH, of Brantford with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired,
  • Operation while impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus) and,
  • Drive without proper rear light

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Brantford, Ontario, on Friday, January 12, 2024.
