Brantford man charged with Breaking and Entering

Brantford Police ServiceBrantford man charged with Breaking and Entering

Officers with the Brantford Police Service were dispatched after receiving a call to report a break and enter at a Nelson Street location at approximately 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2023.

Officers attended the location and located the accused on the property.

Police investigation revealed that the accused was captured on surveillance footage unsuccessfully attempting to gain entry to the residence through a window.

As a result, a 42-year-old man from Brantford stands charged with the following Criminal Code violations: 

  • Trespass / Prowl near a Dwelling House 
  • Break and Enter a Dwelling House with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence

The accused was held for bail.
