Officers with the Brantford Police Service were dispatched to a Sheridan Street residence in regard to an assault at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Monday, January 10, 2022.
Officers attended and investigation revealed that the accused, a 31-year-old man, had physically assaulted a 65-year-old male victim.
The victim was transported to hospital where he received medical treatment for minor physical injuries.
As a result, a 31-year-old man from Brantford (No Fixed Address), stands charged with assault causing bodily harm, a Criminal Code violation.
