On Saturday, January 28, 2023, at approximately 4:00 p.m., a report was received by Brantford police to advise of a road rage incident involving the drivers of two vehicles who were travelling southbound on Highway 24 near Governor’s Road.

It was reported that the accused was allegedly tailgating the victim when the victim pulled over to let the other driver pass. The accused pulled over as well and a verbal confrontation between the men occurred. The confrontation turned physical when the accused is alleged to have punched the victim twice in the face. 

As a result, a 35-year-old man from Brantford stands charged with one count of Assault, contrary to the Criminal Code.
