Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are continuing to investigate a fatal motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles on Highway 403 Westbound, which occurred shortly after 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023.

The Brant County OPP responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and a small SUV in the westbound lanes of Highway 403 near mile marker 46.

The driver of the pickup truck, as well as the driver and two children in the SUV, were all transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Sadly, another passenger in the SUV, a 46-year-old female from Illinois, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Brant County OPP is continuing to investigate with the assistance of the OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team.

Anyone who may have observed these vehicles prior to the collision, observed the collision or who may have dashcam footage of the collision is asked to contact the Brant County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
