One person charged after indecent act investigation
Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following an indecent act investigation in Brant County.
On April 21, 2026, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Brant County OPP began an investigation regarding an accusation made of several indecent acts in the town of Paris, that occurred over several days in the month of April 2026.
As a result of the investigation, a 32-year-old individual from the town of Paris was charged under the Criminal Code with Indecent Act. The name of the accused is being withheld to not identify the victim.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on the 17 of July.
Brant County woman facing multiple charges
Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following a dispute incident in Brant County.
Brant County OPP responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the County of Brant at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2026.
The investigation determined that a verbal argument between two individuals escalated into one individual threatening to physically harm the complainant and proceeded to break the complainant’s personal property. No person was injured as a result. The involved parties are known to one another.
As a result of the investigation, 55-year-old Elizabeth O’Donnell from Brant County was charged with:
- Uttering Threats – Cause death or Bodily Harm,
- Mischief – destroys or damages property
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on May 29, 2026.
Driver arrested and charged after traffic stop
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Brant County Detachment has charged a driver following a traffic stop in Brant County.
On April 17, 2026, at approximately 3:00 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Hardy Road in the County of Brant. Through investigation, it was determined that the driver was operating a stolen motor vehicle from the City of London while the driver was under licence suspension.
As a result, 31-year-old accused, James Horton from Brantford, has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with Drive While Under Suspension.
The accused is scheduled to be in Brantford Court on June 16, 2026, in answer to the charge. The accused was released into the custody of London Police regarding his possessing the stolen vehicle.
Paris resident facing two counts of Spousal Assault
Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following an intimate partner violence investigation in Brant County.
On April 17, 2026, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Brant County OPP responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the County of Brant.
As a result of the investigation, a 45-year-old individual from the Town of Paris was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with two counts of Assault – Cause Bodily Harm – Spousal
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford, on June 4, 2026.
