Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following an intimate partner violence investigation in Brant County.
On February 17, 2026, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Brant County OPP were notified of an Intimate Partner Violence incident which took place at a residence in the County of Brant at approximately 9:00 a.m. on the Monday, February 16, 2026.
As a result of the investigation, a 45-year-old individual from Brant County was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following charges of Assault – Spousal (two counts)
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date.
