One person has been pronounced deceased after a car versus pedestrian collision on White Swan Road in the County of Brant Wednesday morning.

Members from Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), County of Brant Fire Department and Brant-Brantford Paramedic Services responded to a collision on White Swan Road in the County of Brant at approximately 6:13 a.m. on Wednesday November 8, 2023.

It was determined that a passenger vehicle struck a pedestrian who was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The deceased has been identified as a 61-year-old from Brant County.

White Swan Road remains closed while OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team members continue to investigate the collision.

Updates will be provided when the roadway has been reopened.
