Brant OPPBrant County resident facing Spousal Assault charge

Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following a domestic-related incident in Paris.

Brant County OPP responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on Bobby West Street in the Town of Paris at approximately 3:22 p.m. on Monday, July 21, 2025.

Investigation determined that a verbal argument between individuals escalated into a physical altercation. One person sustained minor injuries as a result. The involved parties were known to one another.

Police located the individual a short time later in Paris. As a result of the investigation, a person from Brant County was charged with:

  • Assault – Spousal

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
