Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit are investigating a robbery that occurred at a motel in the town of Paris on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.

Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a robbery at a motel on Paris Road in the County of Brant at approximately 9:32 p.m. on Tuesday evening.

Two unidentified suspects attended the motel, threatening an employee and a resident while brandishing golf clubs. The suspects fled the motel with a quantity of Canadian currency and were last observed on foot in the fields located southwest of Dundas Street and Paris Road. The suspects are described as wearing all black clothing, ski masks with a skull pattern and black gloves.

Residents and visitors in the area of Dundas Street and Paris Road between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. with dashcams or security cameras are being asked to check their footage for any suspicious activity. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the County of Brant OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
