One person is facing impaired driving charges after Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members investigated a two-vehicle collision Friday afternoon.

Officers from Brant County OPP and Hamilton Police Service responded to a two-vehicle collision on Sawmill Road in the County of Brant at approximately 3:40 p.m. on Friday December 9, 2022.

It was determined two vehicles traveling in opposite directions were involved in the collision. There were no injuries reported. One person was arrested and transported to Brantford Police Service for testing.

Police have charged Garrett Patrick BELL, 28-years-of-age from Trenton with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) and
  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Brantford, Ontario at a later date.
