Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its COVID-19 update for Wednesday, June 1, 2022.
Currently, there are 47 total active cases with four new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and five people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 10,124 total confirmed cases, 10,006 total resolved cases and 71 deaths.
Meanwhile, the Province of Ontario reported 590 new cases on Tuesday, May 31. As of Tuesday, there are 808 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 140 are in intensive care units (ICU).
