Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Monday, January 24 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 383 total active cases with 142 new cases being reported in the last 72 hours and 43 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 7,514 total confirmed cases, 7,089 total resolved cases and 42 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 4,790 new cases on Monday. There are currently 3,861 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 615 are in intensive care units (ICU).
