Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its COVID-19 update for Friday, May 6, 2022.
Currently, there are 155 total active cases with 27 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 10 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 9,867 total confirmed cases, 9,645 total resolved cases and 67 deaths.
Meanwhile, the Province of Ontario reported 2,418 new cases on Friday. Currently, there are 1,662 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 210 are in intensive care units (ICU).
