Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Friday, February 18 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 144 total active cases with 21 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 8 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 8,226 total confirmed cases, 8,020 total resolved cases and 62 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 2,337 new cases on Friday. There are currently 1,281 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 352 are in intensive care units (ICU).
