Brantford police have arrested a suspect wanted in connection to a fatal stabbing on Saturday, October 22.
Officers with the Brantford Police Service became involved in a homicide investigation in the area of Cayuga Street at approximately 9:30 a.m.
Officers attended and located a male victim who had sustained a stab wound. The victim was transported to hospital where despite receiving life-saving efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
Later that day, after a tip from an alert citizen, police arrested 20-year-old Nicholas Craig for second-degree murder.
