Officers with the Brantford Police Service were dispatched to attend the Brantford Skate Park, located at Icomm Drive, in relation to an assault at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Ruesday, October 11, 2022.
Investigation revealed that a dispute allegedly occurred between two accused individuals and a 16-year-old female victim over the location of their possessions.
During the dispute, the accused male allegedly brandished a knife while verbally confronting the victim. The accused female then physically assaulted the victim.
Officers attended and located the accused male and female who were arrested at the scene. EMS attended and treated the victim for minor physical injuries.
As a result, a 38-year-old female stands charged with Assault, contrary to the Criminal Code and a 46-year-old man stands charged with one charge each of Assault and Assault with a Weapon, contrary to the Criminal Code.
