52-year-old man arrested for Assault With a Weapon

Brantford Police Service52-year-old man arrested for Assault With a Weapon

Officers with the Brantford Police Service were dispatched to a location on Icomm Drive after receiving a report of a man threatening another man with a knife at approximately 10:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2022.

The accused is alleged to have been asked to leave the property by an employee when he brandished a knife and made a threatening gesture towards the victim.

No physical injuries were sustained as a result of the incident.

Officers attended, located, and arrested the accused.

Investigation revealed that the accused was in violation of a valid police undertaking.

As a result of this investigation, a 52-year-old man from Brantford stands charged with the following offences: 

  • Assault with a Weapon
  • Failure to Comply with an Undertaking

The accused was held for bail.
