City of Brantford is inviting residents to celebrate the holiday season at the annual Parade After Party on Saturday, November 28, 2026.
Taking place in Harmony Square immediately following the Freedom House Santa Claus Parade, which begins at 6 p.m., the festive evening will feature holiday entertainment, family-friendly activities, free treats and the official tree lighting ceremony.
“The City of Brantford is excited to welcome everyone back to the annual Parade After Party event following the Freedom House Santa Claus Parade taking place in the evening this year,” said Lori-Dawn Cavin, Manager, Community Recreation and Events for the City of Brantford. “We are very thankful for the generosity of our local sponsors who help support this free community event.”
Following the parade, the festivities begin with the official tree lighting ceremony lead by Harmony Squirrel and Santa Claus. Residents can enjoy a variety of free family-friendly activities throughout the evening, including a meet-and-greet and keepsake photo opportunity with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, a special appearance by a beloved surprise character from the Glass Slipper Company, free festive face painting, carnival treats, and hot chocolate provided by Tim Hortons.
Stilt Walker Guinness World Records holder Doug “The Great” Hunt will also be in attendance. Children are encouraged to bring letters to Santa or write a letter to mail at the event. All letters will receive a response from the North Pole.
