Person facing charges after traffic stop
A driver is facing impaired driving charges, following an investigation by Brant County OPP.
On September 22, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on Brant Road in the County of Brant.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested and charged 27-year-old, Pritpal SINGH from Stoney Creek, with: Failure or refusal to comply with demand.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on November 6, 2026.
Windsor man facing Impaired Driving charges
A member of the Brant County OPP was investigating at a motor vehicle collision on Highway 403 East, in the County of Brant at approximately 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2026.
As a result of the investigation 68-year-old Gordon Terry JONATHON from Windsor was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Dangerous operation
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
- Flight from peace officer
The accused was subsequently released with and is scheduled for a court appearance on November 5, 2026, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford.
Brant County OPP charge individual after traffic stop
An officer with the Brant County OPP conducted a traffic stop on Rest Acres Road at Hutchings Road in the County of Brant, regarding a possible impaired driver at approximately 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2026.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested and charged 24-year-old, Zackery Allan BURGESS PHANLOUVONG of Woodstock with the following Criminal Code offences
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Dangerous operation
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on November 6, 2026.
