Brant County OPP spearheaded a coordinated police operation in Brantford, that led to the arrest of two men wanted in connection with an ongoing Break and Enter investigation.

On September 9, 2026, officers from the Brant County Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), supported by the Oxford CSCU and Brant County front-line officers, executed a Criminal Code search warrant at a residence on McClaren Avenue.

Inside the home, police located two individuals identified as primary suspects in the case: Douglas YEO and Santana BEHAVKA. Both were taken into custody without incident and now face the following charges under the Criminal Code and CDSA:

  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 – in Canada – three counts
  • Trafficking in property obtained by crime – two counts
  • Poss of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine

The two accused individuals were held in custody for a Bail Court hearing. The operation was part of a broader effort to address a series of property-related offences under investigation in the region.
