As a result of investigation of a suspicious incident involving a youth, police have arrested and charged a 28-year-old man with Assault.
On Friday, June 5, 2026, at approximately 9:00 a.m., a teenage girl was walking in the area of Brock Street and Colborne Street East, when she was approached by an unknown adult male, who grabbed her shoulder, and engaged her in conversation.
The youth left the area safely and the incident was reported to police.
On June 6, 2026, a 28-year-old man from Paris was arrested and charged with one count of Assault.
