Members of the Brantford Police Service responded to a pharmacy located inside FreshCo after staff reported that a male was attempting to pass a fraudulent prescription for narcotics at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
As a result of the investigation, a 36-year-old male has been charged with:
- Obtain Controlled Substance by Fraud
- Uttering a Forged Document
- Forgery
- Fail to Comply with a Probation Order
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
