Pedestrian killed in early morning Brantford crash

Brantford police said a person has died after being struck by a car near the intersection of Market and Darling Streets early on Friday, April 17, 2026.

Officers said the crash happened at around midnight and the pedestrian was brought to hospital where they died from their injuries.

The driver remained at the scene and is reportedly cooperating with detectives.
