Members of the Brantford Police Service are actively investigating after officers were called to a report of a shooting in the area of Erie Avenue and Gladstone Avenue.
Officers responded to the area of Erie Avenue and Gladstone Avenue after receiving a report of a shooting at approximately 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, 2026.
Upon arrival, officers located a man without vital signs. Officers have confirmed that the man had been shot and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
As this investigation is in its infancy, officers are working to gather information, identify the victim, and locate the suspect(s). At the present time, the suspect(s) descriptions are not available.
