Officers are seeking information from the public to help identify two suspects involved in a weapons incident where a firearm was discharged.

On Friday, March 13, 2026, at approximately 12:30 a.m., officers with the Brantford Police Service received a report of a possible gunshot at a motel located at Colborne Street and Locks Road. Officers attended and confirmed that two suspects arrived at the motel before one discharged a firearm in the parking lot of the motel before they both left the scene in a vehicle. No injuries occurred as a result of the incident.

Two suspects remain outstanding and are described as follows:

Suspect #1:

Female, white, with dark shoulder length hair, average/thin build, who was wearing a black low-cut top/jacket, jeans with tearing on the thighs, and knee length black heeled boots. 

Suspect #2: Male, white, wearing black pants, a black hoodie, and multi coloured running shoes.

The involved vehicle is described as a blue 4-four door GMC pickup, with chrome details (grill, bumper, handles, running boards) and is pictured below:

Members of the public are advised not to approach the vehicle or any associated individuals. The suspects may be armed. If observed, please contact police immediately.
