Brant County OPP were called to investigate a fraud that occurred in the town of Burford, Ontario on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
Brant County OPP spoke to the complainant who stated that a construction company called 24 Hour Roofing and Masonry has been going to Brant County homes selling home repairs and renovations.
On Friday, January 9, at approximately 11:00 a.m., the complainant paid a male representative of the company $5,000.00 for chimney repairs to his home. The work was started but never completed. The employee is described as male, white, approximately 35-years-old, 6’0 tall, 230 lbs and driving a black pick-up truck.
