Brantford police seek driver after early morning crash

Brantford Police ServiceBrantford police seek driver after early morning crash

Brantford police are searching for a driver who fled after a high-speed crash involving a stolen truck early on Sunday, November 23, 2025.

Officers said a silver GMC Sierra was seen speeding south on Ninth Avenue at around 4:30 a.m., before crashing into a tree on Erie Avenue.

Investigators later learned the truck had been stolen from Langton, which was using stolen Brantford plates.

A 37-year-old woman at the scene was arrested and charged with possessing stolen property over $5,000.

Police said the driver ran off before police arrived.

They are looking for a white man, with short brown hair, who was last seen wearing jeans and a dark-coloured hoodie.
