Brant County man facing Assault charge after disturbance

Brant OPPBrant County man facing Assault charge after disturbance

Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a disturbance report at a residence in Paris at approximately 11:26 p.m. on September 13, 2025.

Upon arrival, officers found a 53-year-old male causing a disturbance. After investigating, it was found that the male was wanted on an outstanding warrant issued by Brantford Police. During the arrest process the male became assaultive and attempted to resist the arrest.

As a result of the investigation and arrest, Jason KINGS, 53-years-old, from Brant County, has been charged with:

  • Assault

The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford in November 2025, to answer to the charge.
