Brantford Police ServiceToronto man facing ten charges after skate park incident

Officers with the Brantford Police Service arrested a 25-year-old Toronto man with a loaded, restricted firearm after a disturbance was reported at an Icomm Drive skate park, at approximately 9:30 p.m., on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

No injuries were reported as a result of the disturbance.

The accused refused to identify himself to police. Investigation determined that the accused was also found to be wanted by a neighbouring police jurisdiction and was in violation of a number of judicial prohibition orders.

As a result, a 25-year-old man from Toronto was arrested at the scene, and stands charged with the following charges:

  • Unauthorized possession of firearm
  • Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose
  • Carry concealed weapon
  • Possession of prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition
  • Careless storage of firearm
  • Probation order non-compliance
  • Firearm or weapon: Possession contrary to prohibition order
  • Failure to comply with judicial release/non-comm order – release order
  • Obstruct peace officer

 The accused held for a bail hearing.
