Paul Harrison of Brantford won $316,029.50 in the December 25, 2024 LOTTO 6/49 draw.
Harrison, a retiree, has been playing the lottery with OLG for 40 years.
He enjoys playing LOTTO 6/49, LOTTO MAX, ONTARIO 49, and LOTTARIO, using OLG’s Quick Pick feature to make his selections. The father of three was thrilled to share the news of his first big win.
“I checked my ticket following the Christmas Day draw and couldn’t believe my eyes,” Harrison recalled, when visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim his winnings. “It was amazing! I shared the news with my wife and daughter, and they were both so happy for me.”
“Winning this prize brings a sense of relief,” said Harrison. “It’s a great feeling. I plan to pay some bills and buy a new car.”
