Organizers are busy preparing for the 2024 Canadian International AutoShow, which begins on Friday, February 16 and runs through Sunday, February 25, 2024.
The 51st edition of the AutoShow will be returning to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and with the show less than a day away, preparations are very close to complete.
“Most manufacturers and some of the larger features have been moving in for over a week now. Logistically, things have gone well and the spring like weather was a real benefit this year,” said David McClean, Director of Marketing Services for the Canadian International AutoShow.

This year’s show will offer several new features for guests to enjoy, including Camp Jeep, which offers attendees a chance to experience the legendary off-road capabilities of Jeep vehicles without leaving the auto show floor. Passengers will ride along in the latest Jeep vehicles, experiencing man-made obstacles that rigorously showcase their unmatched capabilities.
“Auto Exotica, always a favourite feature, focuses on Passion and Performance, with vehicles from both Cobble Beach Concours and AutoStrada to excite and enthuse every visitor. The Tribute to Ferrari, presented by Ferrari of Ontario, is one of the newest and a rare participation by Ferrari. There are features by Mattel (1957 Corvette, inspired by the Barbie Movie) and LEGO that will excite all attending family members,” added McClean.

The LEGO Group will, once again, be in attendance at this year’s show but they will not be displaying their usual full-size replica supercar.
The LEGO Group is returning with a family-friendly display for young and old, including many photo opportunities, a kids play zone and a retail area. Highlight of the 2024 LEGO display will be an enormous mural made out of LEGO Bricks which guests can help build at the Show. As the mural nears completion, participants will be able to see the uniquely Canadian, AutoShow-inspired mural graphic come to life.
Besides the classic cars, supercars and Barbie cars that will be on display, electric vehicles will also be highlighted during this year’s show.
“Electric City returns for a second consecutive year, with patrons getting answers to all of their questions surrounding electrified vehicles. Canada’s largest Indoor EV Test Track, with over 6,000 test drives, experienced by more than 15,000 people last year, will continue to be on the list of those attending,” McClean said.

With the first day of the AutoShow right around the corner, McClean said organizers are expecting over 350,000 to attend this year’s event.
“It’s the Total Automotive Experience, and this year it is more diverse than ever before with more than 77 electric vehicles being on display, but as important, the greatest collection of luxury cars, exotics, and super hyper cars than we’ve ever had before,” concluded McClean.
