St. George Santa Claus Parade cancelled

ChristmasSt. George Santa Claus Parade cancelled

County of Brant has cancelled the 2021 St. George Santa Claus Parade, which was scheduled for Saturday, December 18.

The parade was supposed to take place on Saturday, December 11, but due to the severe windstorm that swept across the region, it was re-scheduled for this Saturday.

In consultation with the Chief Medical Officer and the Brant Emergency Operations Centre, the County of Brant has made the difficult decision to cancel the parade.

“With increasing COVID-19 cases and the emerging omicron variant, we need to remain cautious and unfortunately, limit large gatherings. We are very disappointed and thank you for your understanding.”
