Brantford and Area Sports Hall of Recognition, in partnership with the Sports Hall Selection Committee and Alliance Board, announced this year’s Class of 2026 Inductees on Monday, May 4, 2026.
The following individuals will be honoured at the annual Sports Hall Induction Ceremony on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, and will be showcased in the Sports Hall at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre:
- Paul Szczechura – Inductee, Athlete: Hockey
- Krista DuChene – Inductee, Athlete: Athletics – Marathon
- Tom Hawke – Inductee, Athlete: Lacrosse
- Bill Williams – Honouree, Builder: Boxing
The 2026 Sports Hall Induction Ceremony will take place at the Best Western Brantford Hotel and Conference Centre on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.
