Six Nations Police officer arrested, facing two charges

In June of 2025, the Six Nations Police Service received a  complaint regarding the conduct of an officer. As a result, the Hamilton Police  Service was requested to investigate the allegations. 

On Friday, September 5, 2025, Sergeant Raymond JOHNSON, a 14-year service  member, was arrested and charged with the following offences: 

• Breach of Trust by Public Officer 

• Obstruction of Justice 

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, located in the  City of Brantford, on October 9, 2025. 

The accused is no longer employed with the Six Nations Police Service and as the charges are currently before the courts, the Six Nations Police Service is unable to provide any further details or comments to maintain the integrity of the  court proceedings.
