Seven individuals were arrested and charged following separate impaired driving-related incidents in less than one month, between June 20 and July 15, 2025.
On Friday, June 20, 2025, at approximately 7:12 PM, the Six Nations Police were advised of a possible impaired driving complaint on Fourth Line. The caller reported that the vehicle entered the ditch but was able to maneuver back onto the roadway. Police were successfully able to locate a vehicle matching the description provided.
As a result of this investigation, police have arrested and charged Tylor PLANK (31-years-old) of Hamilton, Ontario with the following criminal offences:
– Impaired Operation
– Dangerous Driving
– Failure or Refusal to Comply
– Assault Peace Officer x 2
– Utter Threats – Death or Bodily Harm
– Mischief under $5,000
– Obstruct Peace Officer
– Assault with Weapon
At approximately 10:45 PM, on Monday, July 14, 2025, the Six Nations Police were advised of a traffic complaint on Sixth Line. Police received numerous complaints about a vehicle driving erratically in the area. Police located a vehicle matching the description provided.
As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged Patrick LONGBOAT (48 years old) of Ohsweken, Ontario with the following criminal offences:
– Dangerous Driving
– Flight from Police
– Impaired Operation
– Alcohol per se Offence “80 plus”
– Operation while Prohibited x 2
Both accused were held in custody pending a formal bail hearing.
At approximately 12:35 AM on Monday, June 23, 2025, the Six Nations Police were advised of a suspicious vehicle on Tuscarora Road. When Police attended the area, they located a male sleeping in the driver’s seat of the motor vehicle which was parked on the side of the road. When police attempted to wake the male, he attempted to drive away.
As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged Christopher GREEN (50 years old) of Ohsweken, Ontario with the following provincial and criminal offences:
– Impaired Operation
– Dangerous Driving
– Failure or Refusal to Comply
– Drive Motor Vehicle – No Licence
Also on Monday, June 23, 2025, at approximately 6:48 AM, the Six Nations Police were advised of a possible impaired driving complaint on Third Line. The vehicle was stationary on the roadway. When police attended the area, they located a female asleep in the driver’s seat.
As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged Corry JOHNSON (52 years old) of Ohsweken, Ontario with the following provincial and criminal offences:
– Impaired Operation
– Alcohol per se Offence
– Drive Motor Vehicle – No Licence
On Sunday, June 29, 2025, at approximately 12:09 AM, the Six Nations Police were dispatched to a traffic complaint on Fourth Line. The caller reported a vehicle driving erratically. The caller witnessed the vehicle pull into a local business, where police were able to locate the vehicle.
As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged Charly MARACLE (32 years old) of Brantford, Ontario with the following criminal offences:
– Impaired Operation
– Alcohol per se Offence
– Dangerous Driving
At approximately 6:38 PM, on Sunday, July 6, 2025, the Six Nations Police were advised of a single motor vehicle collision on First Line. When police attended the area, they located a male in the driver’s seat of the motor vehicle. The male was taken to a local area hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged Kally MARTIN (36 years old) of Hagersville, Ontario with the following criminal offences: – Dangerous Driving
– Impaired Operation
– Alcohol per se Offence “80 plus”
On Friday, July 11, 2025, at approximately 8:20 AM, the Six Nations Police were advised of a possible impaired driver on Chiefswood Road. The caller reported that a male was asleep at the wheel while parked at a local business.
As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charge Gilbert HILL (34 years old) from Ohsweken, Ontario with the following criminal offences: – Impaired Operation
– Dangerous Driving
– Failure or Refusal to Comply
All five accused are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford, Ontario on a later date.
