Six Nations Police arrest person after vehicle collision

CrimeSix Nations Police arrest person after vehicle collision

Members of the Six Nations Police were notified of a single vehicle collision on Tuscarora Road at approximately 7:35 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

The reporting person provided a description of the individual to police. Once police arrived on scene, officers observed the driver attempting to remove the motor vehicle from the ditch. Police approached the vehicle and observed a male, matching the description provided, exiting the driver’s seat of the motor vehicle.

The male displayed signs of impairment but later refused to provide a sample of his breath.

As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged Paul Kevin THOMAS (64 years old) of Ohsweken, ON with the following criminal offences: – Impaired Operation

– Failure or Refusal to Comply

Operation while Prohibited

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date.
