As 2022 quickly comes to an end, organizations in Brantford and Brant County are getting ready to welcome community members to ring in 2023 on New Year’s Eve.
One of the area’s biggest celebrations will see Harmony Square in Brantford channel New York’s Times Square with a variety of free activities including: live music, a photo booth, party favours, ice-skating (weather permitting) and a spectacular fireworks show at midnight.
“We are delighted to offer another exciting opportunity this season to bring friends and family together and to celebrate the New Year,” said Jennifer Middleton, Coordinator of Special Events for the City of Brantford. “Everyone is welcome to join us as we celebrate the end of 2022 and welcome in 2023!”
In addition to the city’s New Year’s celebration, many other groups are hosting parties to say goodbye to 2022 and hello to 2023.
