Port Dover resident facing charges after vehicle collision

Brant OPPPort Dover resident facing charges after vehicle collision

A driver is facing impaired charges after police were called to a single motor vehicle collision.

Brant County OPP were called to Maple Avenue North between Third Concession Road and Second Concession Road to investigate a single motor vehicle collision in the County of Brant at approximately 5:49 a.m. on Sunday, February 1, 2026,

Police charged 37-year-old Mykel STEEVES, of Port Dover, with the following Criminal Code offences:

  • Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of Justice in Brantford on February 13, 2026.
