County of BrantParis splash pad getting an upgrade

County of Brant council members accepted a bid for the Paris splash pad retrofit project at their Administration and Operations Committee meeting on Tuesday, January 18.

The bid was submitted by A.B.C. Recreation Ltd. with a proposed cost of $141,040.35 plus HST. This was one of two proposals received by the County of Brant prior to the deadline on November 10, 2021.

The 2022 Capital Budget included $150,000 for the splash pad retrofit at Lions Park in Paris.

The project includes complete drainage control work for the catch basin above the splash pad, improvements to existing features, addition of new features, and the upsizing of the recirculation tanks.

Construction is expected to be complete by June 2022.
